Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a soft steel plate equivalent to a pack annealing material without winding at high temperature by a method wherein an aluminum killed steel comprising each specific amount of C.Mn.S.AlCa or Mg, balance of Fe and inevitable impurities is subjected to hot and cold rolling, thereafter continuous annealing is carried out. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum killed steel containing C<=0.06%, Mn<=0.4%, S; 0.003-0.018% Al; 0.02-0.2%, one or more of Ca or Mg at a ratio (Ca+Mg)/ S>=0.3, moreover, balance of Fe and inevitable impurities is subjected to hot rolling and cold rolling, thereafter subjected to continuous annealing. By this method, even if a steel containing C; 0.02-0.06% is wound at below 720 deg.C and coagulation of carbonized substances is not sufficiently, because a crystalized amount of sulfide group substance is low, the growth of crystal particle is good and a soft steel plate with low yield point is obtained. Moreover, if C content is reduced to around 0.01% by vacuum degassing treatment, a steel plate with good drawing property is obtained.
