CONSTITUTION:The frequency shift is detected for the VIF signals through frequency discriminator 14 of the Foster-Seeley circuit or the like and then converted into the low impedance through transistor Tr15 to generate the discrimination output. This discrimination output is applied to one end of diodes 12a and 12b each which are connected in parallel and with the opposite polarities to each other and then extracted through the other end to be applied to AFC variable capacity diode 16 of local oscillation circuit 3. As a result, the interference caused by the undesired signal of the component or the like of the video signal contained in the discrimination output can be avoided.
