Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a title resin composition for imparting a pattern to a press- molded article such as a school lunch article, bath tab or the like comprising a liquid unsaturated polyester resin, a curing catalyst, a filler, alkaline earth metal salt, metal alkoxide, an inner releasing agent along with a reinforcing agent.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A liquid unaturated polyester resin 100 parts by wt. (described below as part), (B) a curing catalyst 0.1W3 parts, (C) a filler 0W35 parts, (D) an alkaline metal salt 0.3W15 parts, (E) a metal alkoxide 0.1W5 parts and (F) an inner releasing agent 0.5W10 parts are used as main components along with (G) a reinforcing agent to provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition for molding. Herein, (A) comprises an unsaturated polyester obtained by esterifying an α, β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid, e.g. maleic acid and a polyhydric alcohol such as ethyleneglycol or the like and a polymerizable monomer, e.g. styrene or the like and the said monomer is used at a ratio of 20W60 parts by wt. per 100 parts by wt. of an unsaturated polyester.
