CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head is located so that flat part 22-3 including core gap 24 may be inclined by fixed angle theta to tangent 32. This angle theta is decided by Eq. I, where L is the length between core gap 24 and boundary 25-3 at part 22-3 and W is the core width each. And the angles larger than this will do, but the upper limit is set to 20 deg. to be preferably set to 10 deg. or less. In such way, the magnetic head is located with some inclination to the track tangent, and thus the abrasion and lacking occurring to the core gap can be avoided perfectly.
