Abstract

When molding this mold 5, a cavity for forming branch tube opening to the inside thereof is formed. Part of the centrifugal casting metal frame 1 confronting this cavity 6 is a metallic cap body 7 which is freely detachable from the metal frame 1. In the central part of the inside of this cap body 7 is secured a core for forming branch tube 11, which is projected to the interior of the mold 5 by a size larger than the casting wall thickness of the tube main body through the cavity 6. Pouring molten steel into this mold, the metal frame 1 is rotated, so that a shape tube having a branch tube may be easily cast.
