Abstract

PURPOSE: To exactly detect the sign of malfunction in a turbine vibration by storing the amplitude characteristic of vibration as standard characteristic upon completion of alignment of a turbine and displaying the actually measured vibration characteristic and the standard vibration characteristic on a CRT when starting normally the turbine.
CONSTITUTION: Vibration measuring points 4W9 are provided at the shafts of a high pressure turbine 1, a low pressure turbine 2 and a generator 3 coupled by one shaft, and the data measured a the points are introduced into an input/output device 11 for processor. The data are fed through the input/output device 11 to a computor 12, which stores the data, calculates them and displays them on a CRT. The output from the computer 12 is displayed on the CRT display unit 13 as the comparison of the measured value 15 with the standard value 14 of the vibrations. An operator notifies the vibrating state of the turbine from this to thereby prevent the turbine from malfunctioning in advance.
