Abstract

PURPOSE:To let transmission and reception of operation signals be effected with less connecting contacts by disconnectably coupling a non-memory type electric shutter camera and an auto strobe through the four terminals for strobe control, for external display signal, for connecting common earth and for connecting X contacts. CONSTITUTION:The device is so constituted that when an automatic light dinning type strobe is mounted to a non-memory type electric shutter camera of TTL photometry having the terminal T0 for fetching the closing signal of the shutter in the electric shutter control circuit having a photometric circuit for automatic exposure capable of measuring flash emission of the strobe as the light dinning signal of the auto strobe and supplying this to the auto strobe, the terminal L0 receiving the operation display signal such as charging completion of the auto strobe, the terminal G0 for connecting common earth and the terminal X0 for connecting X-contacts then the transmission and reception of the operation signal between the camera and the strobe are accomplished through the four terminals T, L, G, X provided in correspondence thereto on the strobe side.
