Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain high-frequency transformer with higher saturation-flux density and less high-frequency loss by using iron core wound in plural times with fine wires of ferromagnetic material as coil-winding iron core in forming magnetic part.
CONSTITUTION: For forming iron core to be used for high-frequency transformer a magnetic closed circuit is constituted by winding in plural times fine wires of ferromagnetic material 1, 50μm etc. in diameter, made from silicon iron and insulated by enamel. Moreover, magnetic gaps 4 and 5 may be provided in the magnetic closed circuit. Then electrical winding wires 2, 3 etc. are wound around on these fine wires 1. The core thus constituted, even with smaller sectional area, is hard to generate eddy current, suffers less loss of iron and is right fit for high-frequency transformer for switching regulator-type power source.
