Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the loss of transister Tr by installing transistor Tr to flow the current intermittently to the electromagnet to the printer driving circuit plus the diode which flows the current transiently to the magnet when the Tr is off.
CONSTITUTION: Transistor Tr2 is provided to flow the current intermittently to electromagnet 1 of the driving circuit which operates the printer in a high speed, along with diode 3 which flows the current transiently to magnet 1 when Tr2 is off. In addition, resistance 5 is connected in series to magnet 1 to measure the current flowing to magnet 1, and differential amplifier 6 is connected across resistance 5 to convert the current flowing to magnet 1 into the voltage. This voltage is applied to one terminal of comparator 7, and reference voltage Vr is applied to the other terminal for comparison. Then the voltage underwent the comparison through comparator 7 is applied to AND circuit 8, and the logic product is secured to control voltage A to set voltage C for control of Tr2. Thus the power consumption is reduced for Tr2.
