Abstract
PURPOSE: To clarify waste water containing sea weed waste to colorless and odorless water by combining a netting separating cylinder, a filter chamber, and an adsorption chamber in order.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water containing sea weed waste is introduced into the netting cylinder 15 in such a way as to hit the waste water at the conical diffusing plate 13 provided at upper part of the cylinder 15. Then, the separated liquid from the separating chamber 2 is introduced into the filter chamber 3 provided at the lower part of the separating chamber 2, where fine flocks present in the separated liquid is removed while passing through the filter medium 3 packed, e.g., porous activated alumina, coral stone, etc., having a grain size of 1W30 meshes, and then the liquid from the filter chamber 3 is sent to the adsorption chamber 4 packed with the absorbent 4', e.g., an ion exchange resin, activated carbon, diatom earth, etc., having a gain size of 30W60 meshes, provided at the lower part of the filter chamber 3 in order to remove coloring components, odors, etc., present in the liquid.
