Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a liq. fuel for power source replacing gasoline by subjecting alc. to chemical change. CONSTITUTION:Sulfuric acid is added to anhydrous alc. and heated to form producer gas consisting of ethylene, which is acted by catalyst to permit hydroxyl gp. to be removed and made into unsaturated condidtion. Then, this is combined to acethylene gas or terpentine oil to increase calorific power and the obtd. gas is cooled to liq. thus producing a loq. fuel replacing gasoline.
