Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform automatic continuous transportation of powder in accordance with the feeding speed of powder, by controlling the amount of feeding air by the time required for the powder in hopper to reach to predetermined amount after closing of valve at the outlet of hopper.
CONSTITUTION: When powder material is fed from device 9 in previous process, the powder material is heaped in throw-in hopper 6. When the surface of heap is detected by level switch 8, valve 10 closes while valve 7 opens thereby the powder in throw-in hopper 6 falls down into blow tank 1. The controller 11 measures the time interval between the opening of valve 10 and the detection of heap face of powder by means of level switch 8, and to operate the flow control section 12 such that optimal air flow is supplied to pulse air drive section 2.
