Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten paper feed treating time, by changing over a drive source to a discharge roller to either of a platen of another drive source by commands from a detector.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 1 is driven, a hopper roller 4 is turned through an electromagnetic clutch 3 and blank forms 6 are sent out up to a location where a platen 10 and a pressure roller 11 contact. The electromagnetic clutch 3 is released, and the hopper roller 4 stops. The blank forms 6 are set at a location where printing is started by the revolution of the platen 10. When printing, a discharge roller 25 is connected to the platen 10 by means of a transmission gear, and discharges the blank forms 6 in a synchronous shape with feed by means of the platen 10. When the separation of the blank forms 6 from the platen 10 after printing is completed is detected by means of a detector 27, the motor 1 again drives, and is connected as a drive source of the discharge roller 25.
