Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove dust of catalyst foruse in the removal of NOx by introducing denitrated exhaust gas in the down stream of a denitration fan into a catalyst drawing out apparatus, and introducing denitrated exhaust gas containing dust from the apparatus into the upper stream of the denitration fan. CONSTITUTION:Dust deposited on a catalyst is removed by vibration and gas stream. Dust removal part or dust reservoir of dust transferring apparatus is connected through a treated gas introduction line to a treated gas passage. The dust removal part or the reservoir is also connected through a treated gas discharge line to the treated gas passage. For example, the lower part of a catalyst dust removal apparatus 30 is connected through a treated gas introduction line 31 to a treated gas passage 33a in the down stream of a denitration fan 20. Dust of a catalyst 12 is removed by a denitrated exhaust gas stream which is treated in a reactor 19. Treated gas containing dust is introduced through a gas-discharge pipe 15 into the treated gas passage 33b.
