Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain always synchronizing signals where noize is eliminated for a strong electric field intensity as well as weak electric field intensity by setting a shift quantity for composite video signal shift properly and controlling a synchronizing detector circuit by noise pulses.
CONSTITUTION: Composite video signals inputted to input end 12 are supplied to integrator circuit 13 and have horizontal synchronizing signal components eliminated and have vertical synchronizing signals subjected to peak detection by peak detection circuit 14. This detection output is applied to one input end of synchronizing detection part 16 and one input end of nise detection part 17. Then, composite video signals led out to the first output end of level shift circuit 15 are applied to the other input end of detection part 16, and composite video signals led out to the second output end are applied to the other input end of detection part 17. Noise larger than the peak-to-peak value of synchronizing signals is detected at the output end of the output of detection part 17, and this noize pulse is applied to detection part 16 to control operations of detection part 16.
