Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce waiting time in low-speed operation by correcting a memorized fault position length according to the difference between belt member tension value at a reel portion and that at a winder portion during winding at the winder portion.
CONSTITUTION: By a signal at the time of reel exchange, a pulse oscillator 8 detects the revolution rate of a drive motor at a reel portion 1, and reel winding length is integrated. A fault position is stored in a memory unit, based on the detection signal from a faultedet ctor 3. Tension detectors 50 and 51 detect tension values at the reel portion 1 and a winder portion. A winding speed control circuit 4 calculates the difference between the tension values, and the fault position length stored in the memory unit is corrected according to the calculated value, to control the winding speed.
