Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the projection shape and feeding property of a toner and continuously record a sharp image, by using a magnet having an acute angle to one magnetic pole face, as a magnetic force source for the multi-stylus unit of a head. CONSTITUTION:A head is made of a permanent magnet 6 having an acute angle to one magnetic pole face to strengthen the magnetic force on the tip of a multi-stylus unit 1 and obtain a projection shape for a high SN ratio. When the thickness of a bonded layer 8 of the magnet 6 is not more than the double of the diameter of the stylus of the unit 1, the projection shape for the high SN ratio is stably maintained and a sharp image is formed even if a magnetic flowing toner is becoming insufficient. The acute angle to the magnetic pole face of the magnet 6 is preferably 30 to 60 deg.. If the angle is less than 30 deg., the magnetic force is weak. If the angle is more than 60 deg., a toner projection takes place near the S-pole of the magnet and can cause a noise.
