Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain turning torque when a DC power source is applied to a coil connected to a lead switch by the action of permanent magnets and the lead switch, by mounting the permanent magnets at the both sides of the coil in revolution- free manner.
CONSTITUTION: Permanent magnets 1∼4 are installed at the both ends of support tools 5, the support tools are connected to a shaft 6 and the shaft is maintained by means of a bearing 7. A coil 8 is disposed on a base portion of the bearing, and connected to a reed switch 9 through a power source 10. If the DC power source is not made when starting the motor, the lead switch 9 shall be under an ON condition by means of the permanent magnets 4. When the DC power source is closed, currents flow through the coil 8, and the side facing to the magnet 1 is excited to a S-pole and the side facing to the magnet 3 to a B-pole. Thus, the magnet 1 and the magnet 3 are adsorbed to the coil 8, sucking force among the magnets 1, 3 and the coil 8 overcomes sucking force between a reed piece 11 and the magnet 4 and this motor begins to rotate.
