Abstract

PURPOSE: To cheaply obtain the title dielectric easy to exchange at the time of a trouble by attaching an electrically conductive film and a lead wire to the inside of a glass tube; putting a cylindrical metal thin film into the tube; heat softening the tube; and forming it into a plate shape owing to the empty wt. or external force.
CONSTITUTION: A necessary portion of the inner wall of glass tube 31 is covered with electrically conductive film 32 or a soln. prepared by dissolving graphite powder in an aq. glass soln. Next metal thin film 33 such as aluminum foil as an auxiliary electrode is put into tube 31 while in contact with film 32, and lead wire 35 is inserted. Tubes 31 are then set between two graphite plates 36, heated to the softening temp. of glass in heating furnace 37, deformed into a plate shape owing to external force or the like, and cooled slowly. Laminated mica paper coated with graphite powder or asbestos paper may be held between stainless steel and each tube 31 in place of plates 36. Thus, small size dielectrics are cheaply obtd. which are easily maintained and inspected, and are suitable for use in a flat platelike ozonizer.
