Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a device for improving a working efficiency by enabling an easy adjustment of width determination to the size of folded sheet during operation, for being well-adapted for any kind of folded sheet by changing the shape of a cum, and for enabling a nice truing-up of the folded sheets in a high speed operation.
CONSTITUTION: After printing, folded sheets in 2-row are conveyed in the direction C by means of conveying belts 23, passing through between 2-row rulers 34 above the belts and vibration plates 61. The vibration plate 61 is vibtated through the medium of holding frame 55 by a cum 41 rotated through the medium of a chain 26, and as a result, the folded sheets are pressed against the rulers 34, being conveyed as they are turned up. When there is a change in the size of the folded sheet, the rulers 34 are displaced by turning a ruler moving shaft 29 and a ruler operating shaft 36 with knobs 35 and 37 grasped. In the meantime, the vibration plate 61 is displaced by turning a positioning shaft 32 and an operating shaft 46 by the use of knobs 45 and 47, a distance between the ruler 34 and the vibration plate 61, thus, being adjusted.
