Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The automatic operation based on detection signals R1 and R2 from sensor 20 and the manual operation dependent upon rotation operation of steering wheel 5a are performed, and these automatic operation and manual operation are switched automatically. That is, control circuit 31 consisting of a micro computer, etc., for automatic switching recognizes the steering position (rotation position) of steering wheel 5a by cut angle sensor 36 and stores it and compares newest data θ1 with just preceding read data θ0. If data is changed, it is decided whether steering wheel 5a is rotated and operated (pulse motor 33 is driven) or not; and in case of "YES", the automatic operation movement is stopped by stopping motor driving circuit 32 because the driver desires the manual operation, thus performing the manual operation dependent upon steering wheel 5a.
