Abstract

PURPOSE: An electrically conductive carbon black is admixed with a specific polyamide mixture, whereby fibers with high conductivity in spite of low carbon content can be produced in good operability.
CONSTITUTION: Antistatic conjugate fibers are produced from the electrically conductive component prepared by adding conductive carbon black to a polymer and a usual polymer component, wherein a polymer mix consisting of a polyamide with 7 or less carbon atoms between amide bonds, such as nylon 6 or nylon 66, and another polyamide with 8 or more carbon atoms between amide ponds in a weight ratio of 1:4W4:1, preferably 1:2W2:1 is used for the polymer of the conductive fiber. As the usual polymer component is used polyamide or polyester or the like. The mixing ratio of the conductive fiver to the usual fiber can be made less than 1 or to 1/10 according to the situation.
