Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a running cost and a cost of equipment by a mechanism wherein a part of a cooling and circulating water and a part of or whole replenished water supplied to a circulating water system are blended and a filtered blended filtrate is returned to a cooling and circulating system.
CONSTITUTION: A cooling and circulating water 1' is supplied to a heat exchanger 2' and heat exchanged with a medium to be cooled, thereafter is conducted to the upper water tank 3' of a cooling tower and fallen to a water sprinkling portion 4' and cooled by contacting with an air sucked from the lower portion of the cooling tower by fan 5'. The cooled water is stored in the lower tank 6' of the cooling tower and a cooling water treating agent such as polyphosphate and the like is poured into the tank 6' from a pouring line 8' for a cooling water treating agent. A part of the cooling and circulating water supplied from a water tank 6' is taken out into a filter line 9' to blend with a replenished water introduced from a replenished water line 7' and a coagulating agent is poured from a pouring line 10', thereafter constant suspended substance is filtered out in a filter tower 11' and the filtered water is returned to the lower water tank 6' of the cooling tower.
