Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce correct raster by winding a pair of coils on both sides of troidally wound vertical coil such that it is departed from vertical coil at small diameter core section while approached to vertical coil at large diameter core section.
CONSTITUTION: First coil 13 is wound at central portion of core 11a from small diameter portion P toward large diameter portion H with equi-angle. Second and third coils 14, 15 are wound symmetrically against first coil 13 such that it is departed from first coil 13 at small diameter section P while approached to first coil 13 at large diameter section H. Consequently sub-deflection field of barrel type in the proximity of small diameter section approaches to uniform type as approaching to large diameter section H. Consequently barrel pattern field at large diameter side H is considerably reduced resulting in the improvement of left and right pin cushion distortion.
