Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a flywheel having a big capacity which has never been obtained in prior art in case there exists a size limit such as a transportation limit or the like by making a revolving body to have a configuration such that a circular disk is cut by parallel symmetrical lines. CONSTITUTION:In case an outer diameter D of a revolving body of a flywheel is exceeding a limit width L of a transportation limit, the revolving body is formed to have a configuration such that it is cut by parallel lines located at distances of L/2 from an axle center respectively. Here, the width L between straight lines is L= Dcos. Consequently, if theta equal 45 deg., the width L becomes about 70% of the diameter D, therefore, ample energy of inertia may be obtained in the flywheel in spite of the existing transportation limit thereon.
