Abstract

PURPOSE:To diagnose the normalcy of a signal distributor, etc., in an electronic switchboard on a stored-program system, by using a stand-by scanner as a maintenance scanner. CONSTITUTION:Stand-by scanner STSCN is provided with a corresponding SCN matrix, which is connected only when normal-use scanners SCN are all normal. Outputs of check circuits of several internal units are supplied to STSCN-MTX (scanner matrix). To give STSCN the function of MSCN of making CC (central controller) read contents of check circuits at need, relay contacts stay unchanged and STSCN is connected via STSCN MTX to be used as the maintenance diagnosing scanners of respective internal units. When switch controller SC gets out of order, corresponding ROW of STWSCN is read by CC in accordance with its diagnostic program to diagnose the state of SC.
