Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce an operation panel in space by enabling one light emitting element to display the transmission state of its station, in addition to whether a channel where a radio has been set is in use or not.
CONSTITUTION: In a transmission mode, switching circuit SW1 is turned ON-OFF by the detection output of transmitting detector TDT, causing light emitting element LD to come ON-OFF. In one reception mode where no radio wave arrives, switching circuit SW2 is turned OFF by the noise detection output of squelch circuit SQC to turn light emitting element LD OFF. In the other reception mode where a radio wave arrives, switching circuit SW2 is turned ON because of no arrival of the noise detection output of squelch circuit SQC, so that the element will come on continuously. Only one light emitting element LD, therefore, provides tri-stage display, reducing its operation panel in component equipment space.
