Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce sandwich glass having superior impact resistance, superior durability and constant quality by putting a polycarbonate resin plate between a pair of inorg. glass plates and binding them in one with a transparent org. adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: Transparent org. adhesive 3a of low viscosity is equidistantly dropped onto the insides of a pair of inorg. glass plates 1 and hardened, and the tops 3a are raked smooth with leveler 4. Plates 1 are set so that the insides are faced each of adhesive drops other, and polycarbonate resin plate 2 is put between plates 1. The plates are held by suspension holder 5 and dipped in liquid vessel 6 filled with adhesive 3b of the same kind as adhesive 3a to allow adhesive 3b to penetrate into the space between plates 1, 2.
