Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the number of the temperature adjuster and thus to increase the reliability as well as to realize reduction of the capacity by forming the preheating part of the fast breeder into the blocks featuring nearly the same preheating conditions and then adjusting the temperature with every block.
CONSTITUTION: The preheated part of the fast breeder is divided into plural groups, and furthermore these groups are divided into several blocks featuring nearly the same preheating condition. Thus the groups belonging to optional one of those blocks are referred to as G1WGi, which are heated by heaters H1WHi each which receive the supply of the power from the common power source. The temperature at the key points of G1WGi is detected by thermocouples T/C-1WT/C-i, and T/C-1 corresponding to G1 is supplied to PID temperature adjuster 6. And the output of adjuster 6 controls the power of the common power source to H1WHi via power controller 7. On the other hand, the temperatures of G2WGi are supplied to ON/OFF temperature controller 8 to drive the power switches S1WS+1 to H2WHi. As a result, all groups within the blocks are preheated up to the level within the fixed temperature range. Thus the necessary number of adjuster 6 can be decreased down to an extremely small number which is equal to the number of blocks.
