Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus with an excellent vibration resistance which allows the lamp indication of direction by a synchronous tuning with a frequency twice as large as the excited wave following a constant-frequency excitation of two magnetic detection elements for earth magnetism and other operations with the two elements arranged parpendicular to each other.
CONSTITUTION: Two magnetic detection elements 1 and 2 are arranged parpendicular to each other. The elements are excited with a constant frequency f and the outputs of the detection element undergo synchronous tunings 10 and 11 with a frequency 2f twice as large as the excited wave. On the other hand, an addition and a substraction processing 13 are given in n stages at least one of the signals between the levels before and after the synchronous tunings thereby obtaining 2n+1 of DC signals in which changes in positive and negative level are caused by π/2n+1 in phase with respect to the angle of rotation of the detection elements between the earth magnetism. The output states numbering 2n+2 previously set are detected on 2n+1 of the signals and one output signal is generated for each terminal connected to corresponding separate direction indicators 17 numbering 2n+2. Thus, lamps of indicators are lighted.
