Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In the mixing tank 1, concentrated or digested sludge in the previous treatment apparatus is mixed with a chemical for enhancing the efficiency of dehydration, and then sent by pressure into the pressure sludge dehydrator 3 by the sludge supply pump 2 while being measured by the flow meter 3, where the measured values of both flow rates of sludge to be sent by pressure into the pressure sludge dehydrator 3 by the sludge supply pump 2 and the filtrate are put in an arithmetic controller to calculate the rate of dehydration, the concentration of sludge, and moisture content in order to automatically correct for the pressing time of pressing process.
