Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the trigger circuit of a thyristor from effect of qualities of the components by constituting a circuit so that a diode may be connected between the anode and the cathode of an N-gate thyristor, the conductive state of the diode may be ckecked at the maximum of the power voltage and then the main circuit may be turned on.
CONSTITUTION: The power voltage divided by a partial pressure circuit 100 is applied to the anode terminal of an N-gate thrystor 4 through the gate terminal of the N-gate thyristor 4 and a diode 8 until the power voltage takes the maximum. At the same time a condenser 6 also is charged on the same potential as the anode potential of the N-gate thyristor 4. The instant that the power voltage has taken the maximum phase, by this condenser, the diode 8 is switched over from a conductive state to a stopping one, then the N-gate thyristor 4 is put into a conductive state and trigger signals of a thyristor 3 are produced from a combined circuit 200 connected with the thyristor 4. Thus, it is possible to prevent the dispersion of trigger phases due to the dispersion of qualities of the circuit components.
