Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a rigid and compact structure with a simple design and to obotain excellent power factors and efficiency by stacking and arranging a part of a core facing a gap in a radial pattern with respect to a rotor shaft and stacking disk-shaped magnetic-steel plates perpendicular to the circumference.
CONSTITUTION: Rotor cores 43 are radially stacked and arranged with respect to a rotor shaft 6. A portion of the core, which faces with a gap g and is adjacent to a rotor coil 2, is constituted by the rotor core 43. A rotor core 44, which is constituted by stacking disk-shaped magnetic plates in the direction at a right angle with the direction of a circumference and also at a right angle with the direction of the gap magnetic flux i.e. the direction of a shaft, is coupled with the rotor core 43, constituting a portion of the core facing the gap g which is located at the far side of the coil 2. In this constitution, a rigid and compact structure can be assembled by a simple sesign and excellent power factors and efficiency can be obtained.
