CONSTITUTION:IC3-IC8 are J-K flip flop, the phase A output pulse and phase A inversion output pulse of two phase pulse outputs A and B are taken as the clock input of IC3 and IC4, and the phase B output pulse is taken as J,K input. The output of IC3 is inverted every input timing at forward direction and the output of IC4 is inverted at reverse direction. The output of IC3,IC4 is held at IC5,IC6 and the output of IC5,IC6 is at IC7,IC8 by hold pulse. The output of IC5,IC7,IC6,IC8 is fed to exclusive logical sum circuits IC9,IC10 respectively, and the pulse inputs are discriminated for forward and reverse direction with the output to perform count.
