Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify circuit constitution and enable the baresthesia sensors to be mounted to the palms, etc. of the artificial hands of industrial robots to be miniaturized and arrayed at high densities by making use of the compression springs holding contactors in required positions for electrical connection.
CONSTITUTION: Unit sensors S are provided by arraying a multiplicity thereof longitudinally and transversely on upper and lower printed substrates 1, 2 to constitute a baresthesia sensor. In order to make possible the detection of the electric resistance of a piezoelectric material piece 7 in each unit sensor, the printed surface 3 of the upper printed substrate 1 comprises peeling the portions between the respective rows of the unit sensors arraying in the transverse direction and mutually insulating these and the printed surface 4 of the lower printed substrate 2 comprises peeling the portions between the respective columns of the unit sensors arraying in the longitudinal direction and mutually insulating these. The upper and lower printed surfaces 3, 4 are electrically connected by way of compression springs 10, root parts 8b of contactors 8 and piezoelectric material pieces 7.
