Abstract

PURPOSE: To have exclusion of defective bottles performed automatically by making those defective bottles with a peculiar index on inspection stage and detecting the index at the exclusion point.
CONSTITUTION: At a certain designated position on conveyer 1 which conveys many bottles 2 contacting each other, shall be provided visual inspection stage 3 which includes on one side of conveyer 1, housing 4 encolsing a eight source and diffusion plate 5, and which discriminates the quality of bottle 2 as "acceptable" or "rejected" and in paralled with it, also shall be provided means 7 to post peculiar index on defective bottles. The index means 7 is composed of conveyer 9 which turns around with the same speed as that of bottles, being driven by motor 8, and a plural number of index element 10 arranged in positions corresponding to each bottle 2. Index element 10 is, further, composed of, for instance, main switch 14a, pushing button switch 14, lamp 15 thristor 16 power source 17, veset switch 18 and resistance R, and able to transmit operaional signals to cylinder 13 via photoelectric converter 19 in order to have deffective bottles excluded.
