Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the holding ability of active material by containing a dielectric powder in porous member composed of fiber, then applying metallic galvanization entirely thereby approaching the hole shape formed with fiber to a ball shape and complicating the surface state.
CONSTITUTION: Porous member such as felt or unwoven cloth composed of polypropylene, polyethylene, etc. is immersed in a solution of binder added with conductive powder such as nickel, iron, carbon powder. Binder having hydrophilic performance such as carboxy methyl cellulose, poly vinyl alcohol is employed. Then said porous member is taken up from the liquid and dried thereafter non-electrolyte galvanization and electrolytic galvanization are performed to form a nickel layer of approx. 20μ to obtain fiber nickel porous member.
