Abstract
PURPOSE:To control the shape of a plate by injecting rolling oil of high concentration to the center and edge of the rolled material and adjusting the distribution of concentration of the rolling oil and coefficient of friction. CONSTITUTION:The coefficient of friction between the work roll 1 and rolled material 2 in cold rolling or hot rolling when ordinary rolling oil is injected from the header 3 to the rolled material decreases to 1/2 of the coefficient of friction in cold rolling or hot rolling by injection of rolling oil of high concentration. The greater the coefficient of friction the greater the rolling load, and the smaller the coefficient of friction, the smaller the rolling load. Accordingly, the plate shape of the rolled material 2 is controlled by changing the press-down force of the roll 1 varying the coefficient of friction through adjustment of supply quantity of the rolling oil of high concentration to the header 4 that injects the rolling oil to the center of the rolled material and the header 5 that injects only to the edge of the rolled material.
