CONSTITUTION:Input form a port 1 excites a slot coupled line 5 in the odd mode, does not propagate to a port 2, and is propagated to ports 3, 4 in the same phase. Also, input from the port 2, excites the coupled line 5 in the even mode, but owing to a short circuit piece 13, the port 1 side from an end short 1/4 wave length line 12 becomes open state, so it does not propagate to the port 1, and is propagated to ports 3, 4 in the reversed phase. Here, the convetional app. 3/4 wave length slot line is substituted with the 1/4 wave length slot coupled line 12, the circuit configuration is made compact and the isolation between the reverse phase distribution ports 2 and 4 is made in a wide range.
