Abstract
PURPOSE: To scheme to improve response and obtain uniform distribution of fuel by arranging a sub-intake passage equipped with a jet nozzle at every cylinder group having several cylinders and performing production of mixed gas and distribution to each cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A throttle valve 15 and a control valve 16 are arranged on the upper stream of main intake passage 10, and the control valve 16 is closed by the negative pressure corresponding driving part 17 when the throttle valve 15 is throttled and the negative pressure increases. Between both valves 15 and 16, a bus- intake passage 25 is opened, and the passage 25 is branched to the same number of aggregation parts 26 to the cylinder groups, and on each aggregation part 26, fuel injection nozzles 31 and 32 are arranged, and the mixed gas formed passes through a communication passage 30, distribution part 27, and a sub-intake port 29 and is supplied to a combustion chamber 4. As the sub-intake passage 25 has a small inner diameter, the intake gas obtains a high speed and fuel is atomized. As one aggregation part 26 communicates only to one cylinder group, for example three cylinders, the distance between the nozzle 31 and each cylinder can be shortened, and response and uniformity are improved.
