Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a high-efficiency reproduction at the high range by giving the boron diffusion process through permeation of the boron layer onto the surface of the base metal. CONSTITUTION:Boron layer 3 is permeated onto the surface of titanium material 2 functioning as the base metal through a high-temperature diffusion process at about 1000 deg.C, thus forming the center cap. This boronic center cap is incorporated into the boronic diaphragm to be assembled into an acoustic speaker. As a result, the homogeneous radiant sound quality can be obtained, and at the same time the center cap itself can be used for the high range reproduction. Thus a high-efficiency high range reproduction is ensured by using the center cap as part of the diaphragm because of a high vertical elastic coefficient of the center cap.
