Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to correct the watch without deteriorating the minute hand operation and the phase adjustment by bringing the upper and lower planetary gears of a minute wheel with the hour wheel and center pinion, which are concentric with the minute hand, and by presetting the transmission ratio at a predetermined level.
CONSTITUTION: A center wheel and minute wheel 3, which are turned once an hour, are frictionally connected, and if the wheel 3 is turned by an outside member the minute hand is corrected. This wheel 3 is equipped with concentric and rotatable upper and lower planetary gears 7 and 8. The gear 7 is made to mesh with an hour wheel 10, which is concentric with the minute wheel 3 and which is equipped with an hour hand 11, and with a center pinion 13 which has its rotations braked by a braking member 15. If the gear ratio of the wheel 10, the gears 7 and 8 and the pinion 13 is set at a preset value, the wheel 10 is turned one twelfth rotation each time the munute wheel 3 is turned one rotation to display the hour. If the gear 8 is turned by the outside operation to turn the pinion 13 a preset pitch, the hour wheel is turned one twelfth rotation through the gears 8 and 7. As a result, it is possible to accomplish the hour hand correction through the gears 7 and 8 without losing the phase adjustment with the wheel 3 and without disturbing the minute hand operations.
