Abstract
PURPOSE:To separate definitely a periodic signal from other information signals in demodulation without reference to the period speed of a multiple signal by providing the periodic signal which differing in voltage polarity with an information signal in each period of a channel. CONSTITUTION:A multiple signal transmitter is provided so as to transmit information signals of several channels via one transmission line, and at the transmission side, an electronic switch not shown in the figure is controlled by clock pulses 4, 4... to send signals of corresponding channels in respective time zones 51, 52.... At the reception side, the signal of each channel is discriminated and demodulated on the basis of periodic signal 6. At this time, since signal 6 differs in voltage polarity with other signals sent via the same transmission line, i.e. pulses 4, 4..., separation between signal 6 and pulses 4, 4... can be made easily and definitely by discriminating the voltage polarity without reference to the time width of the signal, and high- speed demodulation becomes possible.
