Abstract

PURPOSE: To make construction simple, reduce the occurrence of troubles and lower cost by screwing the 1st lens group to the end of a stationary barrel, connecting the same to the 2nd lens group holding frame by means of a connecting rod slidable in the optical axis direction and holding the lens groups directly in the zoom cam groups.
CONSTITUTION: When a zooming operating member 3 is linearly moved forward in the optical axis direction along a stationary barrel 1, the pin 10 and 2nd lens group L2 holding frame 8 engaging with the turning guide groove 3b of the operating member 3 turn by required quantity. This turning motion is transmitted to the 1st lens group L1 holding frame 6 by way of the moving rod 7 which is slidably fitted in a fitting groove 9. A screw coupling member 4 is prevented from turning by the slide guide groove 3a of the operating member 3 by way of a pin 5 and therefore the 1st lens group holding frame 6 advances along the optical axis and assumes a long- focus lens state. When the group holding frame 6 is turned following to this, the screw coupling member 4 becomes integral with the holding frame 6 and turn but the stationary barrel 1 is held stationary and therefore the holding frame 6 and 1st lens group L1 are retreated along the optical axis direction by a large-diameter screw part 4a and an external screw part 1a, whereby focusing is accomplished.
