Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve flocculating of dispersible germs and improve treating water quality by dispensing raw high-concentration organic waste water to the effluent water containing dispersible germs after the treatment of the high concentration organic waste water with activated sludge of logarithmic growth period.
CONSTITUTION: When high concentration organic waste water of more than BOD 3000ppm is first led into the aeration tank of the first process and is treated, then the logarithmic growth of bacteria occurs and activated sludge forms. At this time, about 50% of organic substances are decomposed and the remaining about 50% are transformed to germs. Thereupon, the raw waste water of the first process is flowed about 5W100%, preferably 20W100% to the effluent water containing the dispersion germs from the first process, in the second process and the aeration is performed by making stagnation time about 1W3 days and MLSS about 2000W10000ppm. Then, the activated sludge of the first process effluent water decomposes the same substrates of the second process well, couples to the return sludge and flocculate the dispersion germs, thereby improving the treating water quality.
