Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase productivity by applying a flexible printed substrate at the both ends of each coil and at a leader line attached to an intermediate tap for eleminating leader lines.
CONSTITUTION: An electric conductive wire 8 is continuously wound with a given pitch around a coil frame 7. A double-faced adhesive tape 9 is stuck on where an intermediate tap is required, and on this tape a flexible printed substrate 10 is adhered. The conductive wire 8 is soldered on a conductive layer 11 of the substrate, while a lead-out section 13 is separated from an insulation sheet 12, and is fixed along the coiled section. After this coiling operation has been accomplished, the wire 8 is cut to form individual coils and the lead-out section 13 is lead out to form leader lines. In this method, the flexible printed substrate that has the lead-out section is used; as a result, required amount of tape can be reduced, thus increasing productivity.
