Abstract

The heat source 18 immediately under the vessel 3 is turned on to heat the vessel 3. The substances 2 are thus decomposed to produce smoke. Part of the heat obtained from the source 18 flows through the rods 4 to decompose the substances 2 in the upper layer, and constant amount of smoke can be produced for a long time.
