Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a fertilizer efficiently without giving out bad smell, by fermenting and ripening raw materials continuously in a fermentation and a ripening chambers equipped in a rotatable cylinder in one step.
CONSTITUTION: Raw materials of cattle excrements, leftover rice, sawdust, water, etc. are fed into the hopper 9, and to the fermentation chamber 6 by rotating the screw 8, agitated in the rotating cylinder 1 in hot air, and fermented for about 4W8hr. The screw 10 is then rotated in the discharge direction to deposit the materials on the through 17 by the blades 18. The fermented materials are transferred to the ripening chamber 7 by the screw 10 and ripened in hot air while being agitated with the cylinder 1 completely for about 2W4 days. The screw 21 is then rotated to drop and deposit the product with the buckets 22, and discharged outside.
