Abstract

PURPOSE: To accelerate mixed air flow from the branch path to improve combustion capacity by connecting suction ports in the throttle valve down stream of the multicylinder engine through the connecting path and the branch path of which top end is designed so that it is tangential shaped in the cylindrical concave in the upper part of the suction valve.
CONSTITUTION: Each throttle valve 22 of each cylinder which is provided near the suction port 5b of each suction path 15 with the carbureter 13 is linked to one another by a common shaft. The common connecting path 29 which extends in the longitudial direction of the engine is provided in the lower part of the suction path 15, and the connecting branch path 30b which opens into each suction port 5b strectches out of the connecting path 29. The branch path 30b is arranged in the tangential direction against the suction port 3b, and the hollow conducting pipe 31 which opens near shoulder part of the suctio valve 3b and through which the mixed air from other suction port is conducted, while being accelerated, into the combustion chamber 10 is improve the combusting condition is inserted into the branch pipe 30b.
