Abstract
PURPOSE: A spinneret assembly for conjugate fiber in which 2 Kinds of different spinning dopes are introduced under specific conditions respectively, dispersed and distributed uniformly to outlets and spinning nozzles, thus reducing the dead spaces for the dope and permitting the uniform distribution in spite of its simple structure.
CONSTITUTION: Spinning dopes A and B introduced from inlets 5 and 6 respectively are uniformly and smoothly distributed by laying upper mouth piece 14 between nozzle plate 19 and distributor 4 and using radial paths 12 and 27 and circular paths 13 and 23. The flow of the dopes is smooth and does not vary with time, thus substantially eliminating the dead space and stably forming multilayered conjugated fibers. Outlets 15 and nozzles 25 are arranged on the peripheries of concentric circles that have the center on the center of upper mouth piece 14 and radial poths from the center to the peripheries are formed between distributor 4 and mouth piece 14 for, e.g. polymer A and between mouth piece 14 and spinneret 19 for polymer B. Consequently, the number of distributors or other parts can be reduced, the structure of the assembly can be simplified, the accuracy is increased and the number of nozzles can be increased.
